Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Security Management Analyst in Rock Island, IL.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring all SIPR facilities; operations and equipment are compliant with the Security Program operations, receipt, and inventory and accountability requirements safeguarding the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network SIPERNET) in accordance with Army Regulation (AR) 380-5 and internal policies and procedures.

• Set up, manage the installation, removal, and control storage of all SIPR hard drives supporting authorized personnel.

• Monitor the Acquisition Integration Management (AIM) Protected Distribution system (PDS) user processes and accessibility. Recommend modifications to internal user processes to the Government Lead to mitigate any compromise of the SIPR distributed system with the end user.

• Review and assist in controlling all classified printing and the securing of the same in the authorized classified storage container location.

• Maintain a control log of all printed classified material for handling, storage and final destruction.

• Provide technical support for various users of the SIPR system.

• Report any suspected security violations.

• Make recommendations to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) where changing security measures may affect the limitations or added requirements of maintaining compliance with all security requirements.

• Post all required non-classified documents contract task order CDRLS received to the required data drives on a daily basis and report to the COR when CDRLs have not been received.

• Advise the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on security control matters upon request.

• Review, monitor, and evaluate instructions, authorization documents, security directives, regulations, directives, and manuals pertaining to the security of equipment, information and material utilized in support of the contract.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Clearance Required: Secret

Minimum of 8 years’ experience working with the Classified Material Management/Handling services and Protocol Router Network (SIPRNeT) Room operations in accordance with Army Regulation (AR) 380-5. Expert knowledge is required of security protocols, managing classified material handling, receipt, inventory, classified material container storage requirements, and destruction of classified material. This position requires the individual to have a minimum of 8 years’ experience and in-depth knowledge in managing the data repository for non-classified documents and CDRLs in order to assure the contract information is adequately and efficiently accounted for and made available to the Program Management Office or other organizations.

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $75,779 - $80,858 Annually
