Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Data Visualization Developer to support our client’s contract needs. This position is located in the Washington DC. This position will have a hybrid schedule and will require the person to be an onsite Monday-Wednesday-Friday.

  • Responsible for designing and developing sophisticated data visualizations, interactive graphics, intuitive user interfaces and develop prototypes to meet customer requirements
  • Data reports and visualizations that provide trends and forecasts to identify workforce issues
  • Develop and implement a data strategy that improves, streamlines, and simplifies the collection, management, analytics, and reporting of workforce data in support of workforce strategic planning and other workforce data reporting requirements
  • The contractor shall conduct workforce analytics to support workforce strategic planning and other workforce data reporting requirements
  • Perform design and development of ETL to map data from source systems to the DW and accurately populate databases
  • Validates ETL, databases, BI metadata, and reports to assure data quality in databases, DW and reports
  • Works closely with business stakeholders and source system owners to research data anomalies and provide recommendations for resolutions
  • May support data modeling and ETL design and development to populate new data structures, including data warehouses, operational data stores and data marts
  • Keeps abreast of technological developments and industry trends
  • Defined at the task order level, additional education, training and/or certifications are required in relevant field over the master level
  • Performs data validation to assure data quality within new and enhanced databases.
  • Analyzes and assesses existing source system data to design appropriate data-centric solutions
  • May develop dimensional and relational data models for data marts, data warehouses and operational data stores
  • May support end users with specific ad hoc reporting and analytic needs to provide further insights on the data

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, information systems, engineering, business management or other related technical area with 8+ years or (commensurate experience) of data visualization experience

 

Required Skills and Experience

 

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience developing data visualizations
  • Possess expert level expertise in technologies such as Tableau, SQL, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML and/or JQuery
  • Experience using data tools and technologies such as, the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS), InfoWeb/Java, Enterprise Data Warehouse, and surveys
  • Expertise in Reports & Dashboards development (i.e. Business Objects)
  • Experienced in database design, particularly in the integration of multiple data sources into a single repository
  • Requires approximately three years additional experience over the master level
  • Experienced in applying data analysis and statistical techniques on large data sets, to develop predictive models that address and target problems
  • Experienced in utilizing data that is multichannel (web, email, direct mail and call center) in origin and application
  • Ability to perform sophisticated statistical analysis and also interprets the data and communicates results to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Has a high level of diverse technical and industry experience related to a specific skillset(
  • Typically has specialization in a particular technology or business application

Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain AOUSC Public Trust

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $95,000 - $125,000 Annually
