Tom Ferrando

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ferrando provides CRGT Inc. with the essential leadership that has it positioned at the forefront of the IT services industry providing solutions to the Federal Government. He is responsible for developing the company’s strategic plans that support the company’s goals and objectives to promote revenue, profitability, and growth.

Prior to his current position and the spin-off of CherryRoad Technologies, Mr. Ferrando held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer for both CherryRoad Technologies and CherryRoad GT, its federal division. From 2001 to 2008 while responsible for the day to day operations of both companies, he grew the GT division from $2.5 million to $98 million in revenue.

Before that Mr. Ferrando held the position of Senior Vice President of Enterprise Solutions for CherryRoad Technologies. Specific service offerings that fell under his area of responsibility included ERP software implementations, e-Business strategy development, implementation of e-Business applications, Web integration, enterprise portal development, enterprise application integration, security services, and Management Consulting services that included process assessment, redesign, and business transformation services.

Mr. Ferrando has also held several other senior management positions at CherryRoad that have included Vice President of Enterprise Applications Solutions and Director of Human Resources Services. As Director he led the development of CherryRoad’s rapid implementation methodology and expanded the human resources’ ERP services department by tenfold.

Prior to joining CherryRoad in 1997, Mr. Ferrando was General Manager of Operations and Systems at Prudential Disability Management Services. He also served as Senior Systems Analyst/Project Manager for Prudential’s Healthcare Group.

During his 12-year tenure at Prudential, Mr. Ferrando designed the company’s first relational data model and introduced reusable design and parts to the company’s application development efforts. He was instrumental in the development of the Prudential Service Bureau, performing large-scale enterprise implementations using mainframe software.

Mr. Ferrando earned a Master of Science degree in human resource management from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ.
