Company is first of its kind to deliver comprehensive Mobile Solutions to government marketplace

Reston, VA – March 30, 2011… CRGT, a leading provider of emerging technology solutions for the federal government, announced today the launch of a new line of services and solutions specifically targeted to support mobile technology adoption (www.crgt.com/solutions/mobility.html). Based on several years of early customer adoption experience within the government, this portfolio of services and solutions will allow agencies to meet the growing demands of a mobile workforce in a seamless and rapid fashion. Designed to support needs across the full life-cycle spectrum, CRGT’s Mobility Solutions are targeted at federal, state and local governments, along with commercial clients that require secure mobile access to enterprise application services and data. This announcement is the culmination of extensive efforts and investment by CRGT to become one of the first companies to deliver a complete, end-to-end suite of services and Mobility Solutions targeted at the federal government.

To date, agencies and commercial enterprise alike have largely utilized a piecemeal approach to the challenge of mobile technology, cherry picking amongst various mobile device platforms, or sometimes choosing not to support them at all. But market conditions have shifted dramatically, including the proliferation of broadband access, the increase of rich media content, and the tumultuous growth trend of user-owned Smartphone devices and other mobile platforms, all driving IT organizations across government and commercial entities to take a more proactive posture in managing this technology within their environment.

“The most complex questions extend beyond which mobile devices the enterprise should or should not support,” said John Scott, VP of Emerging Technology solutions for CRGT. “The more challenging set of questions surround how to extend agency and corporate application services to devices they may or may not own, while ensuring compliance to government policies, adherence to certification and accreditation rules, and maintenance of a tight security posture for both data in transit and data at rest on those mobile devices beyond the office walls.”

With deep and proven experience delivering mobility solutions for agencies that includes the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the U.S, Army and the U.S. Postal Service, CRGT has deployed secure mobility infrastructure that provides end-to-end connectivity for all major Smartphone and laptop platforms. CRGT’s Mobility Solutions consist of five comprehensive lines of service. Each line can be offered as a standalone service, or can be combined as a comprehensive offering spanning strategy, design, compliance, deployment and ongoing operations support:

Mobility Adoption Planning

Mobile Technology Assessment

Security & Compliance Governance

Deployment Engineering

Operations, Maintenance,

and Sustaining Engineering

CRGT announces this new practice based on overwhelming commercial and federal mobile computing trends. “Access to enterprise systems is trending increasingly toward the mobile platform. Prevailing market research suggests that the number of Smartphone devices deployed will surpass total desktop devices by the end of this year if not next. Every enterprise is challenged to deliver a mobility strategy that will meet their evolving demands,” said Tom Ferrando, president and CEO of CRGT. “We’re one of the first service providers to offer a proven portfolio of Mobility Solutions that addresses the full range of needs and requirements for customers tackling this new technology challenge.”

Vienna, VA –October 5, 2010…CRGT, a leading expert in emerging technology solutions for the Federal government, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Johnston McLamb (JM), an award-winning technology management services firm specializing in visual business intelligence, data visualization and geospatial application development for government and private sector customers, including the U.S. Postal Service. Through the acquisition of the Chantilly, Va.-based company, CRGT will extend its market share, diversify its customer base, and further expand its services portfolio.

“We’re tremendously excited to be enhancing CRGT’s large-scale government systems integration and operations capabilities with JM’s complementary expertise in application development services, along with strong data management services and mission intelligence solutions,” said CRGT President and CEO Tom Ferrando. “This acquisition strategically positions CRGT in the market to better serve the full spectrum of services required by our government clients.” Ferrando concluded, “Among the many synergies and benefits we see in this new combination is that both CRGT and JM have demonstrated success helping customers contain or reduce their technology costs and deliver maximum value for their investments. That is an increasingly essential and sought after skill set in today’s economic climate.”

CRGT has earned a proud track record of success for delivering cost-effective emerging technologies and solutions for the on-going operation of large-scale, high-volume systems that solve the most challenging problems and connect vital agencies to their massive constituencies. The acquisition of JM enables CRGT to extend their services offerings and leverage JM’s application development capabilities to better solve the problems their customers are facing around enterprise-level, mission critical systems of varied scale. Expanding into new markets, CRGT will provide JM’s customers with fast, results-driven, compliant solutions for complex technology challenges to large scalable projects. Key among JM’s customer successes is the delivery of millions of dollars in cost savings across multiple projects for the U.S. Postal Service. In addition to USPS, JM’s Federal, state and local government clients include the U.S. Departments of Agriculture and Commerce, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and Fairfax County, Va. CRGT adds over 160 full-time professionals to its ranks, and becomes better positioned to compete on the larger government contract opportunities.
